Pupils at St Joseph’s RC High School have once again achieved outstanding success in their examinations this year, illustrating their resilience, enthusiasm and fantastic learning attitudes. Congratulations.

A Levels

In Year 13, pupils shared similar outstanding success resulting in:

• 24% of pupils were awarded a minimum of 3A*-A grades. 
• 39% of all grades achieved were A*/A. 
• 87% of pupils were awarded a minimum of 2 A Levels at A*-C. 
• 76% of pupils achieved at least 3 A Levels at A*-C. 

GCSEs

This year at GCSE, pupils performed exceptionally well across all subjects, resulting in: 

• 31% of all grades awarded were A*/A. (Nationally 19%).
• 79% of all grades awarded were A*-C. (Nationally 62%).
• 99% of all grades awarded were A*-G. (Nationally 97%).
• 34% of our pupils achieved 5A*-A grades.
• 68% of pupils achieved a minimum of 5 A*-C grades (inc. maths and English).
• 99.58% achieved a minimum of 5 A*-G grades.
• 74% of pupils were awarded an A*-C in maths. (Nationally 49%).
• 77% of pupils achieved an A*-C in English. (Nationally 54%).

We encourage all our pupils to dream big, pursue their passions, and never fear failure. They must remember their worth extends far beyond grades.
