Below, you will find assessment plans or timetables which have been written with students in mind. The plans provide an overview of the topics to be covered in lessons and when the assessments will take place. Students should already have received this from their teachers but here they are - all in one place. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by email on jmorgan@sjhs.newport.sch.uk

At St Joseph's RC High School we recognise that sitting examinations can be a very stressful time for students. It is therefore important that they familiarise themselves with some rules and regulations that govern how they should approach certain aspects of the examinations.
The GCSE or A/AS Level Revision Books include exam dates, revision information, relevant links and specifications for every subject.
Please download the relevant book designed especially for our students and parents to give you the information and skills needed to revise successfully and do as well as possible in your summer exams. How can this booklet help? Using this booklet will:
- Give you some ideas on how best to revise
- Help you plan and make the most of your time
- Boost your confidence
The main exam boards used at St Joseph's RC High School are WJEC, AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR. For further information please see these links to specific examinations boards.

Unable to Collect Results?
If you are unable to collect your results from the school on the indicated days, you can have them posted to you. You will need to give a stamped self-addressed envelope to Mrs Allen, Examinations Officer, before the end of the school year. Your results will then be posted to you on the afternoon of results day. Sorry, we can not give results over the telephone, by e-mail or fax. We can not give them to a friend to deliver to you.
If you want someone else to collect your results on your behalf, you must provide Mrs Allen with a signed letter of authority giving permission for that person to collect your results.
