Representatives from Years 7 to 11 spent an hour dissecting the school and its ECO fingerprint, from redundant light switches to recycling bottles...

Each group, containing members from different year groups, were given specific tasks for this eco-tastic audit of St Joseph's. For example,  one group interviewed teachers about eco-friendly practices, another group checked if lights were left on in empty rooms, and another group checked each and every classroom to make sure the correct recycling bin was being used for the correct waste.

With assitance from Mr Nunn and Mr Phil Williams for Plat-It-Eco, 18 students policed the corridors armed with clip boards and tick lists. Results will be posted, so watch this space.
